Board nominations closed today at noon. We have 6, therefore we will need to have an election. Thank you to Sue, Fleur, Kelly, Dave, Ginny and Nigel who have agreed to put their names forward for consideration. Voting forms will be posted out next week.

We're Back!

Emma Hunt on her way to the airport.The first term break is all, but for a few hours over. It has been an enjoyable two weeks. Our new fence and gates have been installed. Please note if you have reason to drive onto the property then the new access gate is automatic and the gateway is a little narrower than we are use to.

The teaching team spent the last few days of the break in Christchurch attending the Think Forward Conference. This was run by the team at Waimairi School. An excellent few days of learning. The last thing we did was say goodbye to Emma Hunt, who unlike us who were flying home to Southland, she was flying to Singapore! See you next term Emma, see the rest of you tomorrow morning at 8.55.

Likin' Bikin' Opening

Yesterday Deputy PM and local MP Bill English came and opened our likin' bikin' project. It was a fantastic afternoon with stunning weather and awesome turn out of parents and supporters. The afternoon was topped off for kids with a free iceblock supplied by the Friends of School and a wheels on Friday afternoon.
